At CrossFit Hardshells we offer a WIDE range of activities for our Little Hardshells. These activities can be CrossFit related, sport Specific or a unique multi-sport class. Scroll down to discover more about our offerings.

Multi Sports

This fun and unique program is designed to introduce young athletes to a wide variety of sports.  Through this program they will be introduced to sports such as; soccer, football, baseball, field hockey, and lacrosse.  All of our coaches are dedicated to creating a fun environment that encourages these young athletes to try new sports and participate in a wide variety of fun athletic games.  All of our certified coaches maintain a positive and safe environment for the young athletes enrolled as well as maintaining small class sizes to allow for more personalized instruction.

Snappers 3 – 4 years
Our young athletes will enjoy the age appropriate games and equipment used to develop motor skills, coordination, muscle memory and teamwork in a non-competitive fun environment.

Sliders 4 – 5 years
This age group focuses on building their enthusiasm for the sport as well as working on building a sense of teamwork and focusing on sport related skills are the main goals.

Terrapins 5 – 6 years
More advanced skills are being taught in order to further build upon their skills in the sporting world.  A variety of equipment and games are utilized to work on enforcing a positive sense of sportsmanship as well as a strong love for the game.

Diamondbacks 7 – 8 years
The use of scrimmages, direction following, advanced skills, and team play become a main focus for this age group.  The young athletes will learn that competition is a positive, fun, and healthy part of every sport and is introduced in a fun way that all athletes can learn to appreciate.

Soccer

Through our developmental soccer program young athletes enrolled will develop necessary motor skills for the game with a strong emphasis on teamwork.  Our program creates a strong positive environment that successfully allows the young athletes to enjoy learning skills necessary to soccer as well as participating in athletic games that also relate to the sport of soccer. All of our certified coaches maintain a positive and safe environment for the young athletes enrolled as well as maintaining small class sizes to allow for more personalized instruction.

Snappers 3 – 4 years

Lacrosse

Young athletes enrolled in this class will learn the basic skills necessary to the game of lacrosse.  Skills learned will help them begin their journey as a lacrosse athlete.  Our program will emphasize building teamwork, cooperation, as well as the ability to follow directions from our certified coaches.  Through our classes your young athlete will learn proper grip, stick handling, shooting, scooping, cradling, and several other skills unique to the game of lacrosse.  This is achieved through a series of skills, drills, and fun athletic games that contribute directly to their journey as a lacrosse athlete.  All of our certified coaches maintain a positive and safe environment for the young athletes enrolled as well as maintaining small class sizes to allow for more personalized instruction.

Classes start the week of January 29th and finish the week of March 26th
