What is CrossFit

Greg Glassman, a former gymnast, founded CrossFit®, Inc. in 2000. In his years coaching elite athletes, Coach Glassman found that the best way to achieve optimal fitness was not through specialization but rather through “constantly varied, functional movement, performed at high intensity.” Our specialty is not specializing. CrossFit is a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains that are:

CrossFit is appropriate for all levels of athletic performance. The class structure allows our certified coaches to support you in pushing yourself to levels you didn’t think possible in a dynamic environment. Our daily workouts are designed to help you reach and achieve your athletic goals by using a variety of movements and activities.
