Lennell was a Chaplain, a personnel specialist and a Commissary Officer in the Air force for 17 years. He ran Track and Field in junior high and high school. He also participated in football, basketball and softball. He was a fair player and did a lot of running when he was in the military. He is currently a Human Resources Division Director. He works for the Federal Government, Health and Human Services, Food and Drug Administration. He loves to travel, try different cuisines and socialize.
He wanted to change his workout habits which was pretty much non existent for a lot of years and he needed something to keep him engaged. His neighbor told him about Crossfit and after giving it much thought Lennell decided to give it a try. He called and made an appointment. Unintentionally, the first class he attended was a Level 2 team event and he was exhausted but intrigued. When he spoke to Adam, he said “oh you were not supposed to do that one first”. Though it was difficult, he liked it and signed up.
Now Crossfit is his new thing. It is his way to health and wellness. He is also working on altering his eating habits. He has been a member for about 9 months and his goal is to reach the ” Hardshells Status”.
Lennell likes the community, the support, the variety, the challenge and the ability to ask questions to a bunch of people who don’t get agitated when its the same question for the 5th time. Lennell usually works out on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays with the 7 pm class and on Saturdays at 9:30am.
Great Job Lennell and Good Luck with your lifestyle changes!!
